In game sound problem

The sounds for LOL works perfectly fine when I am not playing. but however when I am in a game it stops working; I checked all the sound option in the game and in the system preference of my mac; there is nothing wrong with it. I believe that this might be a bug because I also had the same problem for my windows computer as well.
