My league client wont update

so guys what happened is that a patch was released and i tried to update it but what happened was that the download would just keep on going and never finish. I tried closing the client and opening it again, restarting my wifi, restarting my laptop, but the same problem keeps on occurring. Does anyone have a solution?

Normally restarting the patch a few times fixes it, but also try downloading the Hextech Repair Tool and repatching it that way. Hope it helps!
