Snowdown Chest Misinformation

Hey Riot(Rito)! I signed into League today and the home screen said that I had 9 hours left on a snowdown chest titled: Looting Stars! contains spaced theme skin. Excited to get my hands on an out of this world skin, I went to the store and purchased said chest. I unlocked this crazy little box of hex(the animation was of a normal hex tech box) and got a Heartseeker Ashe shard. :/

I went back into the store and the Snowdown Chest said Mistltoe, nothing about a looting star(s). The advertised and the actual do not match.

Is there a glitch in the system right now?

Am I just not understanding how this works?

Can you refund me?

Can you send me a xmas poro plushy because your awesome?

My client says I currently have 6 hours to buy a Star Themed snowdown chest, but the shop and the support site say that it's currently Mistletoe Themed. I'm glad I caught it before I bought anything. Came here for answers...

I have had the same misfortune as well. My client told me that the looting stars chest was available. When i went to open my chest I got heart seeker Oriana skin shard. While not a bad skin, its not really what i wanted at all. I hope this issue gets fixed soon seeing as I paid money for a chest expecting one thing, but got something completely different.

Same thing happened to me too. I sent in a support ticket. Ideally, if they'd just give back the RP i spent i'd be happy. Keep my money, just let me spend it and get what I'm supposed to be getting

Bummer, on EUW it does say Mistletoe, but I logged in NA and it is Star theme, the heck.

Same thing happened to me. I got 3 heart themed skin shards instead (Heartseeker Ashe, Sweetheart Annie, and Debonair Jayce). I bought the 5 pack with the understanding I would get space themed skin shards. ;-;

Happened to me for Heartseekers, claiming to be Space themed! And Space themed chests claiming to be Spooky themed!!!! A total of 5 chests!!!

Yeah, they have their timing off. I really hope they reimburse people who got screwed over cause they have their listings wrong.

I still have all my refunds available but feel like this one is on Rito to refund.

happened to me too,i opened 3 debonair skin ,armor of the fifth age taric and sweetheart sona,send a ticket to riot they give me back my rp

Asked for a refund yesterday and have not gotten a reply yet. The store is selling the chests I want today, but I don't want to buy them if I don't get refunded.

yep, didnt even bother to look at what type of chest it was, just saw the chest image and bought it cause the other screen already told me what kind of chest it was, but it was all a lie ;-;

Same problem i had except i only opened 1 of the boxes and got a Heartseeker Vayne shard. I hope this issue gets addressed.

I had the same issue. It was supposed to be space and received vday skins. I got a response on my ticket and told me they couldn't refund my RP because I used some of it in hextech crafting. The only thing I used were the stupid sweets to get an icon. So fyi don't use them or you will have to fight for a refund even though it was their mistake. This is quite sad because the sweets should be a gift because of their mistake, not a reason to deny a refund.

If you check the site it says mistletoe. But the client says looting stars. I wonder if the timer is time until looting stars, because if you open the store, it changes to mistletoe.

Same happened here. I bought the 5-chest bundle, since I wanted something from the skin line being advertised. Instead, I get 5 Valentine's themed skins. All of which I dusted since I have no interest in most of those skins. :/
