League of Legends keeps crashing after Champion select

I have tried re installing the game several times, this happened after the microsoft anniversary update.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? And how could I solve it?

Not once have I experienced this problem but let's try to troubleshoot it.

Did you attempt to google any problems with the recent update you installed? Are any files corrupt/missing? What are the specs of your PC?

How well did the game work prior to you doing this update?

Yes I went all over google trying to find the solution but unfortunately I had no luck so this is kind of my last resort.

No there are no files missing/corrupt, I also tried repairing.

My laptop's specs are:

2GHz Intel Core i3-5005U CPU 4GB RAM 149 GB available hard disk space Intel HD Graphics 5500

The game used to work completely fine before the update, I didn't experience lag or anything

I have this too right now. It started right after the windows update and it crashes my whole computer after the game loads to the rift.

This new windows update sucks ass, I need to plaaaaaaaay. It's funny how there's no solutions out there yet.

FIX

I fixed this issue by updating the display adapter from the device manager! :D
