Pink ward fails to detect enemy ward and vice versa in baron pit

Watching a friend's game as they were doing baron, the pink ward doesn't detect the enemy ward and the enemy ward doesn't detect the pink ward but detected baron movement. Ally team didn't notice the ward.

The pink's vision don't reach all the way across and neither do the trinket wards.

Both wards give enough vision to cover more than the area of baron pit.

If you are in the game and are trying to place it, the indicator for distance of the vision does not reach. Unless that's a bug, they don't reach all the way across from where the original images were from.
