Client crashes during Champ Select

I feel like during champ select if your client crashes you should be able to log back in your account and connect back into Champ Select. I've experienced many client crashes during Champ Select and I just receive the 5 minute time penalty and -3 LP. If the person doesn't connect to the lobby before the champion select timer runs out then they can receive the 5 minute penalty and - 3 LP.

What do you guys think about this?
