Curiosity Question for LOR??

So, are there caps for the number of one specific card allowed in one's deck? For example, I know I have seen certain of the same champions played more than twice. Now, I know there are revives and "copy and add to deck" cards but has anyone seen those not used and a player still play 3 champs? Also, so there is no cap to spells or basic cards as well; for example, a player could theoretically have 40 Deny cards? That's quite a hyperbole but possible?

Sorry for my confusion, just curious if this is the way Riot intended or if people are already cheating? I know I already saw a hit for unlimited coins but do my best to stay away from such rabbit holes!!

Thx!!

You can have up to three copies of a specific card in your deck. That's the same for spells, minions, and champions.

However, there is another reason as for why you rarely see a champion played thrice. If you have a champion in your hand and the same champion is already present on your board, the copy in your hand will automatically transform into a spell associated with that champion. When you use the spell it will shuffle a copy of the champion into your deck, so you don't "waste" a champion card. Also, if the champion already present on your board disappears for whatever reason, the spell in your hand will transform back into the champion.
