Patch 5.6 mac bug please fix!!!!!

My mac client was working until about the end of March... but when I tried downloading the newest client for April it worked for a bit then just completely stopped downloading the newest patch at about 50-75% percent it just stopped downloading. I tried redownloading LOL dozens of times, rebooted my computer, and even tried a repair multiple times but the same thing happened. Please fix this ASAP!!!!!!! Because now I can't even play :( If anybody has any ideas on what I can do please please please tell me.

I just played a ranked game and this same thing happened to me, freeze for about 4 seconds then bugsplat. Happened 8 times, not very fun

Patch 5.7 should be rolling out in a day or so, there might be a fix there.
