(gameplay) attacking inhibs as ap champions

I just played a game with ahri where i noticed that my basic attack, despite me having roughly 800 ap, were only doing like 95 damage to inhibitors. I still received the bonus ap damage when attacking turrets but not attacking inhibs. Not sure if this is just ahri or with any ap champion, need to play another now and see what happens
