[FREEZE] Game freezes when the cursor does not move

Recently I encounter a super annoying bug. When I stop moving the cursor, the game does not update, everything freezes. When I move the cursor again, everything is fine. I've tested using the new and legacy client, the bug is still present.

My version of LoL is 7.7. I use a Mac Book Pro with OS X Sierra 10.12.4.

I suspect the latest update of Sierra to probably be the root of the issue because before the update everything was fine. This is a very blocker bug.

I am also having this issue. Some people are able to resolve it by disabling shake to locate mouse cursor, but it didn't for me.
