[CLIENT] Gifting Animation Doesn't Go Through

I gifted my buddy the Dawnbringer Riven skin today while we were both online, but nothing happened! I checked my gifting history and there it was. I know that the sender is notified when the gift has been received, and the recipient gets a cool chest-opening animation with a message. My friend and I got neither of these. We both even attempted to re-log into the game, but still no notification. Out of curiosity I had him check in a custom game if he could equip the skin, and to our surprise, he could!

While this may not seem like such a huge deal, it very well could be for those who want to surprise a friend with a gift. Neither person will ever know that a gift was sent/received and the gift will quietly go to waste. Hopefully this hasn't happened to too many people, and if it has I hope you noticed.

For those who don't know how to double-check if a gift was even sent successfully: Store>Account (little button next to the gifting center) >Purchase History>Gifting History (located on the left column)

Anyone else experience this bug?
