Killer Wireless 1525 Lag Spikes

I searched the forums and only saw 1 post with a similar issue (and no replies) (http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/help-support/nEGAu27F-lag-spikes-killer-wireless-ac-1525-card). I play with a roommate who is on a Mac and he does not encounter lag at all. I get semi-random lag spikes ever 30-60s which has made the game hard to enjoy. I did a clean install of the wireless drivers, fiddled with the settings, but nothing has worked.

Any ideas? Also, there are days that I do not get ANY lag spikes. Nevertheless, the roommate on the Mac still doesn't see spikes ever, so I doubt it's my ISP.

If it helps, I'm in Raleigh, NC on Time Warner.

As far as I know it may be caused by interferences or by the AutoScan function; some wireless softwares can disable it, and in some cases disabling the Zero Configuration service helps a lot. (I'm not an expert, but you should be able to use this info to google around)
