Client says I am currently in a game that has already ended

After finishing a match, I skipped waiting for stats and everything was normal until I tried to play another. The client said I was already in a game and couldn't start a new one. Then i was forced to reconnect to my old game. I couldn't because it was already over and the game said i had to try to reconnect again and that maybe there was a problem with my internet connection. I am currently stuck in a reconnecting phase in a game that has already ended. closing the game and signing back in again just repeats the problem.

Man this bites... it's my only time today to play league and this happens. Still not working. Thanks for the info. Hope I can atleast play by tomorrow. Geez.

Literally going through the same exact thing. I played an aram and am just sitting here signing in and out over and over. like if youre fixing the ranked Qs that shouldnt have anything to do with aram and if you cant manage to run aram or anything while fixing another issue then just disable the game altogether because its not worth playing a 25 min game to then wait an hour just to play another. riot is fucking up

i am having this problem too.. happened during the upgrade to ranked.. i was in a game.. it ended, but now it thinks im still in game.. been awhile now.. what is the fix????

I myself had this problem as well, the only difference is that instead of being able to click to play another game after clicking to skip waiting for stats because it was taking a bit longer than usual. ( Usually instant and can range from 1-5 seconds. It now took much more time beyond that.) So I decided to close league and go play something else. I came back and tried to go and check to see how I could fix this issue

I tried to from the North America Region to EU-West. When I tried that, it told me that my password was invalid. I even slowly and carefully typed in my password.

So I figured that I could just uninstall and reinstall to fix it. After changing it back to North America, I can't login period. My password is invalid and even after I had reset my password and put in the password I put in, it said that it was invalid. So basically I have a problem with my problem...

A lot of ppl have this bug. Some can play normal game, some can just play in bot and some just can't play at all. I'm having this probleme too. RIOT FIX THIS

Happened to me a few weeks back. Here's how to fix it:

Press Ctrl Shift Esc. 2.Close everything Lol related, including "Lol Patcher", "Riot Client Patcher", "PVP.net Patcher Kernel", and "LolClient".
Restart League, everything should be okay now. Pretty easy fix.

I'm having this same problem Just wanted to get some good games in to get my Khazix mastery up before I had to leave but then I got that error. What a bummer [zombie-nunu-bummed]

Same thing happened to me. I researched solutions to this problem and, apparently, it is a server issue. As in, the server has not yet processed the fact that games have ended...at least for some or more accounts (don't know who else this is affecting). It's not the first time this has happened. Anyway. This is definitely something that needs fixed.

Since they were doing live server maintenance http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/live-incident-breakdown-na/vVgXxfRQ-427-live-maintenance-possible-dcs-ranked-disabled it'll take a while for the server to catch up on all the "not-ended" games.
