Cilent freezes on champ select

Almost every game this morning I have had this problem when I select my champion, not when you lock in, and when champ banning starts it will stop responding and the only way I can see anything is when I constantly click my mouse on the screen. But when it's my turn to lock in it won't let me, it won't even pull up the screen to lock in when it's my turn. What do I do to fix this because it is giving me timers for "dodging" when it's out of my control.
