Launcher lagging CPU

Hey guys,

This has been keeping me from playing the game for a while; my launcher takes a huge amount of processing from my CPU on the update screen. Because of this it takes crazy amounts of time just to update the game, and then even press play. After I press play and it moves to the sign in screen and it is back to normal. Anyone else experiencing this?

Based on that scroll on the side all i'm gonna say is...I think you have a lot of background processes that aren't necessary for LoL. When playing just shut them down....of course if you know what you're doing...

I am having the same issue i think. I have been downloading 6.8 for the past 8 hours
