Not in a series anymore

Last night i played a game at 88lp won the game it popped up the message saying you were in the series. It was late and i wanted to rest before trying to play them because i know i wanted to be fresh for them. I wake up and after the patch fix i downloaded today i am now at 98lp and not in my series anymore. I normally get 18-20lp a win so i know a 10lp win didn't happen and i know the message popped up last night about the series. what should i do? I assume i just play it out and see if i can get another win to get my 2lp i lost overnight and back into the series? kinda sucks having to get another win to get placed where i was but i dont think its going to be an easy fix in any case.
