Rengar (E) Bola Bug

I've been maining Rengar and I noticed when I try to use (E) Bola on Zed, it goes through him. He didn't side step, and he was within the hitbox of the spell. I've seen it in other streamer's videos as well. ie foxdropLOL, Pants are Dragon, C9 Hai, Best Rengar NA. They freaked out like me, so I'm guessing it is common for bolas to go through zed players.

I use the classic Rengar skin. The Zed skins were classic and another time it was Shockblade Zed. In one of the streamer's videos, it was SKT T1 Zed. I'm not sure if skins has to do with it although I thought it was a worthy mention.

If anyone has experience with this feel free to respond. I'm open to an explanation on how to fix or if it really is a Bug.
