the game would cause my computer to freeze and i have this problem every 2-3 games and each time I have to restart the computer. there is not bugsplat/ any error message. up until now i used the repair tool, updated my graphics card , updated directx , uninstalled league ,and i run league as an admin.
specs: Intel core i5-4670 NVIDIA GeForce GTX650
this has happened to me a few times as well, my computer will just freeze and I'm forced to restart. I'm still able to talk in discord when it happens. it seems to have gotten better since the last patch, but it did cause me at least 4 deaths lol.

Everyone please make a support ticket with RIOT. They need to know about this problem because when I did they seem to think I am the only one.
In short I had very similar problems even after upgrading to a brand new gaming laptop and running nothing but LOL on it for a while.
Make the support ticket, do the trouble shooting if you want, but in the end nothing they say will actually really fix the problem. There is a solution that I have found that works.
When you start getting the crashes and freezes just UNINSTALL and REINSTALL the game fresh.
The fresh install seems to do more to fix problems than anything else. I am finding that I have to reinstall about every 2 months to keep it working.

I hawe to this problem. Last coment before 4 months but i see same problem people hawe before 12 months. I just ask working somebody on this problem or just do new champ and other think and dont care on this bug... I think allot players drop in ranked because game frezed and they need restart PC...

I have had the same problem for the last 6 months.. its so random.. done everything that everyone here has done.. still happens. I am leveling a new acct. this month casually and was hoping this problem would be addressed before then, (29lvl). It has cost me honor and i have had a couple of 5 20 min q's "punishments"

I had this happening to me as well. I actually updated my graphics card a few days ago and it seems to have solved the issue.
I've had this issue going on since the patch to the point the game would play normal and clear up until the five minute mark is when the game would begin to jitter and stutter. Then closing in on the ten minute mark the game would hard freeze with no crashes or bugsplat.
The trick I'd use to get back into the game was signing out the desktop and log back in. Then boot up league in which it would load up THEN crash and I'd reboot it up again to get in without issue though still minor jittering and stutters.
I've got the Hextech repair tool to uninstall and reinstall the game which the only issue it solved was the hard freezing but the game still would freeze at random moments then im in control once more. I've even used the in game repair tool it hasn't found any issues and the games are playable but random freezes and stutters seem to happen in crucial moments in the game.
Checking the demands for LoL there is no way this should be an issue for anyone who has 4-16gbs of RAM but I may wrong there still. I would like to ADC from time to time without these issues.
