Patch 5.12 Massive FPS Drops??

I've been wondering if anyone has been experiencing massive drops in FPS at random points in the game. Normally I can run League at an uncapped framerate perfectly fine. However, ever since this patch I have random moments were the framerates stutter dropping down down by more half or more. Its especially annoying when it occurs during a team fight or a trade in lane.

Edit: Not sure if this is a well known bug I have heard of it being discussed every few patches on reddit.

I have the same issue, I tried to update everything and so far it is the same.

I have, same issues. The game is totally unplayable, my hard drive usage rate goes to 100% at random times and I can't do shit.

I'm having the same issue but with my ping when I try to do anything it raises my ping from 95-97 to 4000+

I also have this problem. In fact, for a few hours now whenever I try to play, the game completely freezes when I get in lane.

I'm having the same issues, any team fights or lane trades and my Ping goes haywire and the game is completely unplayable. Any solutions?

same i keep getting random lag spikes and "attempting to reconnect"

Indeed ! I had the same problem and my friend too ! we updated our graphic card drivers through nvidia geforce experience and now it works perfectly well again ! not sure if it'll help you but it's worth the try ;)
