Galio shield not activeting Windspeakers Blessing.

I don't know if this was done intentionally. But from the wording of the text I would assume it should have an effect. "shields and Heals on your allies" Grant bonus Armor and Magic resist. " shields an Ally" which grants bonus armor and magic resist. To me it doesnt make sense that the one support that could benefit the most from this mastery tree is not recieving any benefits from it and would like to know if this was just overlooked, a bug or done intentionally? Feedback would be great thanks.

Working as intended.

His "shield" is not actually a shield. It gives bonus MR and Armor. There have been other posts on this topic.

I agree the wording is misleading.

That's because it isn't a shield, it's a mr/armor buff, and doesn't heal allies. Doesn't fit the qualifiers to proc Windspeaker, so it's not a bug by any means. I don't see much of a reason to turn Galio into an exception to the rule, even if it would work for him. It's not really good design to have abilities work a certain way "except for this one guy because we want to be nice"
