Someone please fix Rengar's missing particles.It has been 2 years.

Rengar particles has been missing since his "Rework". Many Rengar mains had created third party programs for old particles and sounds but they no longer work sadly. You probably don't like Rengar but we at r/Rengarmains love that champion and we would like you to fix Rengar and his Skins.

What are the missing particles?

Normal Skin:

Also Rengar Target used to be glowing in Red with Night hunter skin. . Now that's missing completely. Because some people don't want to finish their job. SHAME Same thing with Headhunter Skin, Targets used to be kinda "Gold".

The vision while you are in ultimate used to be more red!! Except for Nighthunter Rengar. More blue! Also Rengar used to jump Higher than the current one. Example!!! For some of the sounds. -There are some Rengar voicelines which are missing. -Sound when you are at MAX Ferocity is missing! -The sound when you leap used to be more like a Lion rawr. Kinda like explosion.

Please fix these issues. Rengar is not the same champion without them. Everyone from r/Rengarmains want them back. Its just sad not having them ingame. I think is worth mentioning that we actually do have the old Rengar files S2-S6. So its going to be easier to fix those issues. Here is the Link. Thx to Boenn

I love how someone posted about particles missing on yasuo and within days they got a response and a team working on it along with other champs missing particles. We've been missing particles for so long and posted almost everyday that Rengars particles are missing and need to be fixed. I really hope a riot employee looks into this. It would be greatly appreciated giving our champ some love even though we know you guys hate rengar xD, but please show us some love. Thanks.

I appreciate this post and how well written it was, legit makes my job so much easier. Really helped me see the problems pretty quickly. KateyKhaos and I talked and there's a couple things we'd like to fix soon, and we can look for other things in the future.

Max stacks glow first off. When you have max stacks, your hands should glow.

Second when you USE the Q, it should be more epic. We can tackle that in the near future.

Third, when you use Q, your blades should glow.

Max stacks hands glow.. Q being used, blades glow.

Then a sound that lets you know you are at max ferocity.

After that I want to return the ultimate glow when on the hunt, the red and the gold depending on the skin.

After that, I want to look at some of the voice lines that might be missing here and there.

I believe that's a good foot to start off on.

For other audio things we will be holding off on those for now. We won't be reverting back to old sounds before rework.

Pls Ranger at least the leap sound and the Q sound, the current omes are horrible... Just get rid of the stupid metal sound. If you guys dont do it know who will? We had our hopes up on you guys

Hi, thank you for helping us work on Rengar's particles and sounds. I just wanted to talk with you about sounds for just a moment, to kinda go into a bit more of an in-depth explanation than most other posts here.

This goes over why the q sounds different/worse to many of us, the issue actually isn't the stab sound itself but a new sound that plays over it during the stab animation. Sounds don't even need to be reverted/changed, just certain files need to be rid of to make it sound like the old q again. The q stab sound by itself is almost the exact same as the old one. Also, while the q sounds are important I think most of us would agree that the leap sound is the worst offender. The old jump sound would actually change based on if you jump at full ferocity or not, no such distinction exists anymore. In general it just sounds so much less satisfying to jump, he sounds more like a tiger now instead of a predator mixed with lion beast like he used to. Also, there is NO sound difference between w and empowered w, which is also quite odd as every other ability has sound differences between the normal and empowered ability, and one of the reasons we were denied having sounds changed in the past was "clarity" when there literally isn't a distinction between some of his abilities sounds like there used to be.

Anywho, even if you guys just work on the particles in the end it still means a lot to us, thank you again for helping us, and sorry for any assholes who rage at you if not everything is completely reverted.

Dear Riot Ranger XIV,

As a Rengar main since his release, I just wan't to say that his old sounds were the main reason why I enjoyed that champion. His old sounds were the perfect match with his theme and his kit which made him so smooth and fun to play with. I just hope you guys could revert all of his sounds and particles to the season 4-5 Rengar. Basically before his rework during the assassins rework. You are our last hope because no one like Rengar. Pretty much all the Rioter wish him deleted from the game. Since we won't have a skin or anything else linked to him for at least 2 years ( I hope it's not the case ) could you please for the love of god revert his sounds and particles to the previous one. You are our only hope. I don't enjoy playing him right now because I don't feel the thrill of the hunt like I used to. Please Ranger help us Rengarmains to feel like we are hunting with Rengar again and appreciate him once more.

On that I wish you a wonderful day or evening and I wish you will help us with that because we all wan't to enjoy playing Rengar again. We got our old Q now it's our final request pretty much to get our old sounds and particles and you guys won't need to touch him again for a long time because we will all be happy.

i have a website that saved all the sounds from all the way back in 2014 pretty much in the exact same format they were used with ingame :

and if u wish to add more badass sound effects to the existing ones without damaging their originality , then be my guest , it would really make a huge difference when playing rengar

Dear Riot, really thanks for the help so far!!! I'm glad that you guys didnt ignore us this time, thanks for the stuff! I just wanted to talk about the upcoming changes.

The list of changes that RangerXIV gave us is awesome but he didn't say that they will revert them, but he said it'll be more epic than current(we all think he meant particle revert tho). Thanks about it and i really appreciate that you guys are trying to help!

However, there is a point that we want to make it more clear, please. I just want to say that basically we don't want any re-created particles on Rengar. All we are doing here is ask for original old particles.

I mean the old particles are not even outdated and they aren't old at all actually.

They dont look old but awesome! We opened this thread just to get original old particles, such as old Q particles, old ultimate glows, old leap height, red hand glows at full ferocity etc...

We just wanted to learn what do you guys want to do with the changes. Are you gonna bring back old(and AWESOME) particles? Or you gonna re-create them in a slightly different way? We all prefer the first option tbh. Because we all think that rengar doesn't need any new particles, but old ones.

Is the current plan to just look at particles? Or to look at particles AND sounds? Rengar technically has sounds that are missing too, like the above mentioned ferocity sfx when you get 4 stacks, healing sound on w gone, and many people also prefer the older sounds for bola/leap over the current ones.

Dear riot, please just revert particles and sounds, they was the meaning of perfection. What we all want is the revert of old particles and sounds. Because they always felt awesome, and they were the mainly reason that i became a otp rengar player. I mained him because his Theme/Sounds/Particles were totally compatible and they felt awesome

I suggest bringing back the old stuff, not only will you satisfy everyone (because we love these so much) but you will also save time and effort bcs you won't have to make a new effect. You can also make a thread in the Rengar mains sub so you know exactly what we want. Love u <3

I really don't want to come off as needy like a lot of people have. But it would really be nice if you guys were to bring back rengars old sounds. I have yet to see a single player say they prefer these new sounds (not saying they don't exist). One thing that just really irked me when the revert happened was the blatant ignoring of the player base asking for old sounds and we were never given a reason as to why the sounds were being changed. I can't help but feel like the changes made to the sounds were just there for the sake of changing them, and when the entire community pleaded to bring the old ones back we were basically told "f*** you". Again I know I'm coming off as bitter and I really don't want to but I don't know how else to get my point across at this point. There was just absolutely no reason to keep these new sounds considering that the entire player base of that very champion didn't want them, we just wanted the sounds we had originally. I would love to keep going and typing about this but I feel as though I'd just get too angry so I'll leave it at that, and I really hope you consider bringing em back.

I wouldn't consider this needy. I haven't gone too deep into this with Ranger yet - we're seeing what we've on deck for resources and the sort - but we can certainly look into the sounds. If for whatever reason we keep the sounds as is, I'll see what I can do to track down the reasoning.

No mate, they are not even outdated.. They was the real meaning of perfection as you know, as eveyone knows. That is why this thread opened up and many people out there agreed with us by upvoting.

I mean pleasing the whole community is impossible ofc, but the main goal is pleasing as much as people from community, and a really big majority wants them back.

The most effortless way to fix all issues of rengar is revert of the old VFX and sounds.

We even give you your own old original Rengar particle and soundbank files,

Please Riot, just make it happen and you will NEVER see a post about Rengar again.

Reverting VFX and SFX will fix every single problem of Rengar and it is a guaranteed win/win trade between us.

Trust us, this change will make most league players feel so awesome and we are all gonna be 7/24 online again..

I mean please riot, we beg you. As an otp rengar player since season 4, for the all rengar players like me, the game is unplayable already. cause of this new(and really disgusting) SFX and VFX.

New FX are looking horrible and sounds are abdolutely disgusting. For an example, his new jump SFX sounds like an table is rubbing to ground.

I see that the riot's old original SFX and VFX files link is given in thread, the easiest (and probably the most effortless) way to fix all of the problems of rengar is use old files that we give and bring back old VFX & SFX and rengar mains will never be wanting something from you guys again.

Rengar's theme and Old FX of him made me main rengar in S4 but now they are all gone. ALL of old rengar players prefers old FX.

Please make this happen and i will play league 7/24 - 365 days again. Please, we BEG you..

also missing the 5 ferocity stacks and hes old ultimate old w miss the old rengar :( i hope riot will revert the rework and revert and make him like season 5 or season 6 rengar with old sounds and skills. i am telling that as a main rengar too bro and i have too say that rengar right now isnt fun like old days rengar :(.

Same thing here. It should just look like in the old day. Rengar had: Nice Q animations (that looked brutal and not comic-like) Nice W glow-animation Nice R animation (With hearts on every target thats visible) And , on top of that , on EVERYTHING nice sound!!!

Hey could you clarify for me? A lot of these pictures don't look like the particles are missing at all, they just look like the particles are different/have been changed. There is still long streaking lines in all of the Q use images.

So what are you considering "missing"? I get and understand the voicesound and the Ult recolor stuff is missing, the colors being different.

When Rengar uses Q on a target the trail of claws used to be upwards/above his head kinda. Now when you play in-game its really hard to see the particles cause they are way too small and the colors are bad. On the pictures it looks like then are not missing but in-game its different!!!

Nice man, im agreeding with you completely. This new SFX and VFX of rengar is really terrible, the old is gold. Im not enjoying to play it because of only this stupid sounds and effects
