Couldnt lock my champion

It was my turn to lock champion in champion select. and the button was grey i couldnt press it. It wasnt from my internet because i was in discord with my team. WTF happened? it forced me to dodge , i was pressing the sh1t out of that button i even tried with different champion >.>
