[CLIENT] Cannot download League on Mac

I have been trying for the past few days to install re-install League. I have encountered numerous issues, such as despite having very fast internet my download speeds are around 200-500kps. Ok, whatever I thought--just wait it out. Second issue is that when it reaches a certain point--85%, 75%, or even somewhere in the 40% range, the download speeds drop to 0kbps. I've tried everything (quitting/restarting download, P2P [already turned off]) but it doesn't do anything. It's infuriating that it has been several days and the game still will not download.

It's weird, because my computer has roughly 8.4gb of league data on it from the download, but everytime I restart it begins at 33% and seems to redownload the data over again. I had to delete a ton of stuff off my computer because my HDD space ran down to <1gb (!!!)

Any suggestions? Nothing has worked so far and i'm spinning my wheels.

Have you tried turning off appnap on all apps within lol? If not try that by going into a finder window go to applications find league of legends, right click and go to show package contents then just explore the files and right click all apps go to get info and click the boxes next to prevent app nap.

I'm having a similar problem but I'm expecting the userkernel app as the main issue as it keeps going unresponsive as I download. That or its because I'm in japan.
