CLIENT - Gift received bug

Every single time I log on I keep getting pop up notifications with "gift received" from gifts I've got from the last year or two, It's been going on for a long time but its a minor nuisance as I can remove it by clicking the "X" about 20-30 times. Now if I accidently click on the actual note and not the "X" then the client freezes and I HAVE to go into the Task Manager, close the process and start up the client again. Is there any answer to this? I know of more than me that have this issue.

I've had this bug. It kept saying my friend gifted me a skin. He never did though but when i clicked on the notification, i got a skin.
