Champion capsule bug...

So a few days ago I reached level 40 and I didn't receive a champion capsule or notification.. Today I logged on and there was a notification icon on the loot tab, I clicked on the loot tab and nothing was there... So I started a game and after the game I finally got a notification for the glorious champion capsule I was supposed to get when I hit level 40, then I went to the loot tab and it wasn't there.... riot pls
