FPS DROPS!!!

I have a decent setup, updated nvidia drivers, the works so I used to hover around 150 fps constant, teamfights and everything. idk if it was the 4.20 and 4.21 patches but I have been getting VERY bad jumps in fps causing my game to stutter every 2 seconds. I thought 4.21 would address this but it was nowhere mentioning any to do with "fixing" this issue many of the players are having. It is totally ruining my expierience all-together, until it was been noticed and addressed with Rito, I refuse to play.

My FPS was usually in the low 100's before the new patches on high settings. But it seems that a couple of Kalista's floating heads or Rek's tunnels drop my FPS down below 60. I'll try the client repair approach and see if that helps.

I'm having the same issues.

Radeon R9 270 series. Do you have a similar card by chance? I have this issue where random things will cause serious issues. One time it was Lucian's skin whenever I AA it dropped me to 20 fps from 170. Reloading the game fixed it although on reload I had champions/minions freezing in place for half a sec then appearing 5-10 units ahead.

I've tried a lot of things and nothing is working.

UPDATE: I have repaired client, used CCleaner for the regisrty, unistalled game completely using Revo Uninstaller then reinstalled. Nothing worked which means the files aren't the problem or my hardware because all my other games (heavier stress than LoL) run perfectly. Riot, fix your damn game, this is a huge issue that needs to be addressed right away!!!

I'm having the same problems since 4.22 patch. It wasn't 4.20 that did this. Mainly in team fights the fps drops dramatically and that never happened prior to 4.21 patch. I usually had a steady 160 fps and in team fights it would drop to about 140... now it drops all the way down to 50 in team fights and it lags, feels real bogged down and not as responsive. I never have any other back ground programs running ever when i play games and my graphics card and all drivers are completely up to date. It's on their end, i think they messed up on some texture packs.

Repairing my LoL client and clearing my Windows registry via CCleaner fixed the fps issues I'd been having since patch 4.21 came out. Have you tried that?

Yeah after 4.20 my fps dropped massively. I used to have 60-70 fps consistently then it became 14 and then 1 when I tried to do a jungle camp. I changed my settings to very low and it's at 40 fps now,

I have issues whenever I spectate a game or get into a teamfight, dropping from a normal 60-100 FPS to 20 FPS. item 3070

UPDATE: I notice it was only games I play with Kalista is when I drops!

BUMP. Having the same issue. Was given a brand new computer today for early christmas, went to a custom game to adjust settings. Was SO FUCKING EXCITED. Got into game aaaaaand went from 80-100 FPS to 11-14. I'm pretty ticked. I almost don't want to play at all for the time being.
