Lost Friends list

This is the second time league has deleted all of my friends. I logged on to the alpha client and i didn't have any friends in my friends list and league was suggesting that I add some of my irl friends that used to be in my friends list.... so I deleted the alpha thinking that was the issue, nope, still no friends. whatever, i can just re-add the typical ones i play with. however today i log back in and all of my friends have disappeared. again. this is super enraging cause now i have to try to find them all again and wait for them to get back on and add me. i hope this is an isolated incident cause it really sucks.
