Can't see ping/fps

Has this been happening with any of you? I randomly load up a game a couple of days ago and the bar that used to display my fps and ping is.. gone. There doesn't seem to be an option in the settings so I just have to assume it's a bug of some sort. One of my friends also said the same thing happened to her and it's been that way for weeks.
