Red Smite " [Bug] " - It does not give vision anymore

Right now, i have been playing nocturne a lot, i usually run red smite on him and that is realy nice. The main problem is that red smite a few days ago used to give me vision of enemys, for example, when im going into a vayne, i smited her right away before she ulted and it used to be an amazing counter hability to her, cause it used to provide vision of her.

Sudently red smite vision does not work anymore and the most weird thing is that it keeps says that " you gain vision of them ". First i tought riot nerfed it, but it did not apear in patch notes and if it happened the smite description should already be changed, the only option left is that is due to a bug. And trust me, to a noct main when you are going into a vayne and you cant have vision of her anymore, that is realy anoying :PP

Im pretty sure this is a bug, i would like to know your opinion and explain me the situacion about this problem.

Red smite still gives vision, but it does not give true vision. This means that it will reveal those who are in fog of war, but it does not reveal stealthed targets and it never has.

Pretty sure they removed that in the recent patch.

It should never have given vision of her if she tumbles with ult active. Red smite does give vision, but not true vision(this lets you see invisible units).
