Broken Screen in Champion Select

So I queued up for blind pick as per normal, y'know being low level and all not much else I can do... As I got into Champion Select, however, I was given a less than welcome surprise. The instant I joined i got a HALF SECOND look at the normal champion select screen, then it went black and froze that way. I couldn't pick, I couldn't see, and my only option was to close my client, which got me a time penalty.

 I don't know if anyone else has gotten this bug before, and if they have I don't know how many people have, but it's more than just a little inconvenient, It's completely game breaking. I like League a lot, but this is a bit unfair. It's not right, and pardon my saying this riot, that players could get punished for a glitch ridden line of code somewhere. Sorry if I come off as harsh or as a bit of a butthead, but this issue really bothered me.
