Champ Select Lockout

I was playing ranked and the champ select froze. I could hear other people ban, but everything stayed the same and nothing changed as they banned. My friend told me I was changing what champ I was hovering when I clicked someone, but when it was my turn to pick, I couldn't lock in. The only thing out of the ordinary I did before this was mess with the new favorite champion selection before it froze on me. I checked reddit and saw some other people had this happen to them!
