So with** macOS Sierra** I had every time 60FPS and everything worked super smooth.
With macOS High Sierra I got 30 - 50 FPS and I can't play like this. It Is not smooth at all.
So is this a Issue from apple or riot?
I also saw that this bug got reported several times but they still did not fix it.
Most likely an apple issue. if you run sierra and you have no problems, it shouldn't be like that normally. When apple updates its base operating system, other applications struggle, especially league of legends. I decided to hold off on the upgrade. You can also downgrade to sierra if you need to. Best of luck!
I also experience the same frames drop with the upgrade, is it possible for riot to try and patch it when the new patch drops ?

Guys In my case, dropping FPS was caused by.. Headset oO Try to play without any external headphones/anything. Maybe it will help.

same thing happenig to me -.-
i had this exact issue (1-5 mins, crash, reconnect, fine) the day i installed high sierra. tried it for a week, did the whole support ticket > hex tech > full restore etc. nothing worked.
eventually downgrade to el capitan, zero issues for the last 3 months.
"upgraded" last night, had the issue in 4/5 games.
I'm going to make this clear: THERE IS NO WORKAROUND OR SOLUTION TO THIS OTHER THAN DOWNGRADING YOUR OS.
sadly this a convoluted and time consuming process, especially if you want to go pre-sierra (let alone high-sierra) altogether.
