Sion E does no dmg when you shoot a minion knocked up with Q

Was playing sion a few minutes ago, and i noticed that whenever i Q a wave and then E a minion, it "flies" over all the other ones without dealing dmg. An other instance happened where the minion was stopped by an other minion, as if it was a wall. Riot plis fix cant win games like this :((
