Game became unplayable

i was playing as volibear (team with ezrael, pantheon, annie, alistar) vs (lulu bard graves lucian shaco) in the above linked game when all of a sudden game became unplayable, any response every 30+ seconds, chat messages showing after 1 minute or more, map units, champs all over the place, units flying through the screen. My connection has always been stable and i had 30-40ms all game. I tried restarting without resolution. The only thing that helped was when my champ died. It seemed to reset everything back to normal.
