I have a new 5K Retina display iMac and League is barley playable. Super choppy and low FPS. Anyone else having these issues? Super bummed. Need some help. Thanks
Here's my specs: 4.0GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 4.4GHz 1TB Flash Storage AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4GB GDDR5 32GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 4x8GB
I've got a similar configuration for my 5K iMac, but half the flash storage and I haven't upgraded the RAM yet (so I've just got 8GB).
I disabled VSYNC and set the framerate cap to 80, and I've got a solid 80FPS on the new Summoner's Rift with everything maxed (2560x1440 resolution). On previous computers, without VSYNC I usually noticed screen tearing; but not on the 5K iMac.
With VSYNC disabled and framerate uncapped I saw it fluctuate between the mid 90s and into the 160, but the fans also got rather loud, so I capped it.
