Kalista hops shorter than intended

I know kalista doesn't get bonus distance from jumping backwards as opposed to another direction, but it feels like her backwards jumps go a little bit shorter than her forward and sideways hops. I was seeing how well I could still pull off wall jumps and in certain spots it was much easier or only possible to jump with a forward jump. I tried most of the easier jumps just to test my thoughts. The walls that I tried were the 2 blue-side blue buff walls, blue-side krugs walls from both sides, red side raptor wall closer to inner turret. the dragon wall, and the red side bot lane river wall across from dragon.
