Can't Play malzahar [CLIENT]

I just bought , i went straight to team builder queued for solo selected and my summoners etc. then when i hit find group it just says INVALID_CHAMP_SELECTION, and wont let me enter even if i change my champion after that i have to leave the queue to make it start and from then on isn't even a champion listed on my roster.
