I heard the noise as if it was my turn to pick, but my portrait was still greyed out and I couldn't pick, while the guy below me's portrait was highlighted, as well as one of the guys on the other team. When time ran out I got kicked out of the game and got a loss in my series.
This happened in the LCS when LMQ was facing a team, can't remember who but XiaoWeiXiao couldn't select a champion so they had to quit and take like 3 minutes extra to make sure it didn't happen again.
Not sure why Riot hasn't fixed this yet.
Sucks for you, but Riot is too stupid and arrogant to fix it.
its a lag spike, an unfortunate occurrence. Sometimes the lobby will disconnect briefly before loading you back in - but if you lag out just before your pick queue you get re-loaded in the same position. it may be a server issue, but dont dismiss a possible router issue.
I feel sorry for you man - ive never had that happen in a ranked (though plenty of times in normals)
