I've played thresh support this evening and noticed that the relic shield passive doesn't proc at the correct amount of health. It should quite quickly execute the minions but only does so when they're near 50hp or lower, instead of the tooltip suggested 249hp. This passive problem seems to stretch throughout all the further items.
Deep Terror Nami3 votesRelic Shield's execute damage only procs on melee basic attacks. Thresh uses ranged attacks, so can't proc it. Last hitting a minion in any way will still proc the gold/heal share, though.
DarkRitual1 votesThresh and his silly "ranged but not a projectile" attacks. But yeah, Proccing shield with Thresh can be quite a hassle untill you get used to it. Using his abilities can help, both from the damage and seperating it from the pack.
