Hud not showing health bar and other glitches

I was in a game of ranked yesterday, when i first spawned i bought my items as usual and started toward lane, and when i hit tab to see all the champions playing in the match it showed only 2. the adc from my side and the adc from the other side.

i tried to re-position each and as i was dragging and dropping, another champ icon would pop up from under and replace the one i had grabbed. every champ was stacked on top of each other. ive never seen it do this before.

and once i got to lane and started taking damage i noticed that my bar was draining and not coming back up, it got almost to 0 from taking damage and then even though i had backed and it was full along with my mana bar, the health bar just showed black. when i would take damage it would show a bit of red to signal that i was taking damage but it would flash the entire bar then go away.

i finally just closed down the game and re-opened and got back into the game and everything worked fine.

i've never seen my game do either of these things before though and while i tried to take a screenshot. it did not save.
