"Updating Interface"

I'm quite disgruntled at the fact that there are spontaneous patches, without warning, for the LoL Patcher client. My internet dropped and after about 10 minutes it's 33% complete. I have a 10mb dl and this is completely unacceptable. This wouldn't be a concern at all, except for the fact that I'm in a ranked game. My resources tell me the game's about to be over, because my team's playing a 4v5. The sweet reports that follow will be great.

Instead of just bitching, I'd like to make the suggestion that patches like these don't occur randomly, or during an interface PROGRESSION that's necessary to access the game. I liked the idea of having a bypass during high volume queues for those that are in a game, I was seriously shocked to find that this had been completely overlooked. There's no forewarning?

Thankfully, my interface finished patching. Unfortunately, the game was over by the time I returned. I was level 3 at disconnect. After this amount of time there's no practical way to catch up anyway.
