Repeating reward and gift delivery notifications

Recently when I log into League client I am greeted by "gift received" and "reward" and "pro game starting" notifications that i have previously cleared. but every time I log out they reappear and I have to clear them over and over. I bought a skin for a friend and it is still telling me he got it months after the transaction was over every time I log on. HELP!
