Kha'zix skill update bug

Today when I played the game the other team 's champion kha'zix have a bug that is when he update his skill the model didn't show anything , khazix still looks like before lv6 , we don't know what he update then he got feed , I asked him " did u update ur e ? " He said :" yes " But the model khazix didnt show he got a wing out . When he already LV 17 I don't what else he updated .... THAT IS A BIG BUG !
