Top lane - Jax vs Gangplank

Jax E "Counterstrike" is supposed to cause all basic attacks against him to miss. Gangplank's wiki explicitly states that his Q "parrley" will be blocked by effects that mitigate basic attacks and lists Jax's counterstrike as one of four examples. The issue seems to occur upon hitting Jax's counterstrike AFTER the Parrley has been buffered by Gangplank, meaning you can't reactively block this ability, but rather have to predict it in order to not get affected.

This entirely messes up gameplay for Jax, because he now has literally no way to play around Gangplank when a key aspect of his gameplay is null and void.

League tool tips aren't literal like games like Magic and Yugioh.

Even though it says it blocks basic attacks, it doesn't block all abilities that say "treated as a basic attack" because they're still abilities. They're more like guidelines

I have posted about this multiple times and I receive downvotes.

Fact is, Jax's E not working properly is literally life and death for him, and it doesn't work half the time. I've given up on playing Jax in large part due to the fact that there's a huge list of bugs on Jax's E that aren't getting fixed and I don't understand why.

Screw Jax honestly. Counterstrike is way too strong of an ability. It offers more safety than Yasuo windwall.

Just came from hashinshin chat . second clip where counterstrike is legit super bugged to a camille fucking auto attack. LoL

WOW, ANOTHER COUNTERSTRIKE BUG?!

Did you know: It took over 1.5 years just to fix the bug with Nidalee's Q (melee) going through counterstrike. Unless of course it still does right.

his E has an extra range btw as a new buff to him so it works for me
