Here is what I did to get this error:
Opened up client, I did not log in. Exited client. Waited a few minutes (filled out a job application, wish me luck). Tried opening up client. ?????? Error window with message pops up: "The program can't start because libnghttp2.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."
What the hell happened? H E L P

Check your C:\Riot Games folder... I have Riot Client & League of Legends folders. The libnghttp2.dll file was in the Riot Client folder and not the LoL folder so simply copy and paste into League folder. You can do this the opposite way too (if it's in LoL and not Riot Client). I think during last update, a couple of the files got deleted. There's quite a few in the League of Legends folder that were deleted (that were there before).

KatieH1 votesI had someone share a copy of their libnghttp2dll in my dropbox folder. Then i just moved it into my league foilder and i t worked.

Same thing happend to mee i have no clue what to do except a clean reinstall riots damn spaghetti code strikes again
