Here is what I did to get this error:

Opened up client, I did not log in. Exited client. Waited a few minutes (filled out a job application, wish me luck). Tried opening up client. ?????? Error window with message pops up: "The program can't start because libnghttp2.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

What the hell happened? H E L P

I have this problem. It won't even let me uninstall because the file is missing. Like, how the hell?

you can download the above file or just run the league installer, point it to where league is installed and it will repair so you can enjoy the toxic wonders of lol once again

I had the same issue.

Fix: download the Repair tool: https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/224826367-Automated-Troubleshooting-Hextech-Repair-Tool & do reinstall, clean install not necessary.

It will install once you got hired. The client detected that you applied for a job, and decided that you don't need the extra anxiety from playing more LoL.

I had someone share a copy of their libnghttp2dll in my dropbox folder. Then i just moved it into my league foilder and i t worked.
