[GAMEPLAY] Aatrox Passive + Ignite Bug

So I just played a game as Garen top against an Aatrox, and after reviving and engaging back on the Aatrox, I ignited him while his passive was up (with a full red bar, mind you) and it killed Aatrox without proc'ing his revive. He also came back with the bar still red and no debuff showing his passive was on cooldown, which shows that at no time his passive went off. Has anyone else seen this or had this problem lately?
