While I was playing as Ashe, I had an encounter of 1 v 1 against a Lux, i waited for her to ult and while she was getting ready to finish her ult I used mine in order to stop it, but apparently it doesn't. can her ult actually not be stopped?
Lux ult is a cast time. Cast times cannot be stopped by anything.
The only way to actually stop it is death. Its a cast time, and not a channel or something. The only way to stop those from going off is killin champion.

It's been said before, but like your ult, ezreals, and Jinx' her ult has a small channel after she casts it, 1 second long, nothing but killing her will interupt this channel, same as with any of you.

If you don't kill her before it completes, you can't stop it.
