Well this is sad, when you spent all your 96 lunar tokens with hope to get one of theese sexy golden Chromas, but you only get stupid icon. there is no hint that spending your tokens on CHROMA and ICON you will recive only ICON sereously...who would spent all tokens on ussles ICON ??? well i feel cheeted. I wanted golden garen skin, but insted i got....welll uglly icon
Unfortunately, this isn't a bug. The chroma is on your account, but to use it you must have the base skin the chroma is associated with unlocked. Once you unlock the Warring Kingdoms Garen skin, you'll be able to use the chroma. I'm sorry I don't have better news :(
The Warring Kingdoms Garen skin is no longer up for sale. I too have the 96 tokens converted into icons only. The quest was a bit deceptive. Riot should have specified that you need to have the skin first to get the reward and the chroma. Now even if you wanted the skin, it is no longer up for sale.
