After unboxing a hextech chest, I received this ward shard. It appears to be the Lantern of the Serpent ward skin but it's name is "**loot_name_ward_skin_rental_8". I unlocked the skin using essence but It doesn't show up when I want to select it.
I got this glitch too. I had **loot_name_ward_skin_rental_7, which decided to turn into a permanent ward skin since it was a Christmas cookie thing. Turns out, it just took the essence and never gave me a ward skin.
The Lantern of the Serpent ward is currently bugged, you own the skin but you wouldn't see it. A fix for this bug is under development.
