Getting this error message when I try to send a mystery gift: 'exchange.storeprocessor.chat.notFriends'

Neither of us have any type of ban or restriction.
Haven't sent any gifts in the last 24 hours.
Been friends for awhile.

I've been able to send gifts before. Anyone else have a similar problem? Is this a technical issue?

Also having a problem with gifting a friend. The store keeps saying we haven't been friends long enough but we've been friends on league for over a year.

Guys! I fixed it by simply repairing my League client! I got the same error then repaired and was able to gift my gf the new Caitlyn skin! [slayer-jinx-wink]

I have the same problem too. It's my friend's bday and I was playing on giving her Dragon Trainer Tristana. How long will it take to fix this?

I tried sending a friend the new Caitlyn skin but I got this as an answer, "exchange.storeprocessor.chat.notFriends". I have been friends with this person for a year at least and now I can't send a thing. RIOT, if you won't allow my skin to go through I will happily have my $20 back.

Same problem here, except I thought removing and then adding them again(they accepted right away) would fix it, but that wasn't the case. This person literally sent me a gift last night and now we can't send each other gifts. This is my first time facing this problem. Please help!

Also having this issue. My boyfriend sent me a skin not even 5 hours ago. I tried to send one to a friend about an hour ago and it gives me the same error message. Hope Riot sees this thread soon or responds to my ticket.

Try running as Admin. I had this problem and i tried running league in Admin and it started working again.

This is ridiculous, I accidentally clicked on a Portugal server forum and they are getting the same issue, maybe it's a international problem? Either way, Riot needs to handle it.

Yup, same here, It has been like that for over 2 hours now, I wanted to buy the lunar skins for my husband before he comes back home and nope, Rito took my money and doesnt let me spent my RP. I have been checking the League boards and several people are complaining about the same, no answer from Riot. I will update it I see something. EDIT: I have been checking the forums and this issue is not just in NA, other servers like EU and Latin America are also affected. no notice from Riot yet.
